First place in Iowa intercollegiate forensic competition to University of Northern Iowa individual events team.

Ten member of the University of Northern Iowa's individual events speech team captured the first place sweepstakes. UNI place in events such as; triathlon, persuasive speaking, program of oral interpretation and after dinner speaking.
