Public attitudes toward welfare programs to be topic of Northern Iowa political science lecture Nov. 17

R. Allen Hays will address the results of a recent study in which he surveyed 102 redidents in Waterloo and Des Moines to find their views and knowledge on three major welfre programs: Aid to Families of Dependent Children, food stamps and public housing.
