WBB tourney journey over

The women's basketball team earned a spot in the Women's National Invitation Tournament and lost to the University of South Dakota in the third round, 51-50. Previously, they played Bradley University, Southern Illinois University, and lost to Missouri State, 71-58, for the NCAA tournament ticket. They earned a NCAA bid and defeated the Nebraska Cornhuskers, 64-62. They also defeated Drake University, 64-58, and lost to South Dakota, 51-50.
