Their season included winning the regional tournament in November and participating in the National Intramural-Recreation Sports Association flag football championship in January. There, they defeated Pensacola, 28-27; lost to Southern University; and lost to the University of Southern Florida, 28-6. They were UNI's first team to win regionals and advance to nationals. |
