Reaching for Higher Ground to focus on community after 9/11 Everyone remembers where they were when the towers fell in New York City on 9/11. Several events on campus will help us remember that fateful day. A flag planting ceremony is planned on the anniversary; photo.
Progressive Picnic connects students to communities Northern Iowa Democrats, Freethinkers and Inquirers, Philosophy Club, UNI Proud, and One Iowa joined in the recruitment event, the first of its kind in recent memory. Food, drinks, lawn games, and live music highlighted the event; photo.
Students and staff adjust to eLearning changes WebCT has been purchased by Blackboard Learn 9. The changeover has not been simple. This is the first semester after the change. Growing pains will be evident to many.
GBPAC stage set for 2011-12 season The stage in the Performing Arts Center has been replaced following the breaking of a sprinkler head prior to the Blue Man Group last year. $150,000 was spent on the new floor.
