140 organizations gather for UNI's fall Career Fair McLeod Center hosts the fall Career Fair. Students met with companies, distributed resumes, and gained information on applying for employment. Some employers held formal interviews the following day; photo.
Luciano encourages pluralism, diversity Danique Seymour shared her poem, "Faces", prior to Felipe Luciano's lecture. The lecture was entitled, "Black Latino Unity: The Missing Link". Luciano's lecture was part of a series of lectures on diversity.
UNI says farewell to Dean Jon Buse Dean of Students announces his resignation effective in December. He will become the Dean of Students at Kirkwood College.
Marching band to celebrate life of deceased student with dedication A maple tree has been planted between the Dome and the McLeod Center as a memorial to Anna Williams. A plaque with an etched image of Williams will placed near the tree. Williams was a trombone player with the marching band; photo.
