123	Mrs. James Clayton, (Isabelle Fields)	The former Isabelle Fields died April 3, 1941, in Rowley, Iowa. She formerly lived in Dexter, Minnesota. Her husband died in October 1940.
124	Bert B. Welty	Died at his home in Nevada, Iowa, April 7, 1941; survived by his wife, his son, Paul, and two daughters, Esther Stevenson, and Mildred Braunschweiger. An active attorney in Nevada since 1899; operated and managed several farms in Story County.
125	Mrs. Clyde L. Hulsizer, (Ada Groves)	Died at the Iowa Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines, January 17, 1941. She married Clyde L. Hulsizer, district governor, and later director, of Rotary International. She did graduate work at the State University of Iowa, and taught for seven years.
126	Mrs. J. G. McAlvin, (Clara Hearst)	Died at the St. Francis Hospital in Waterloo, April 18, 1941. Born near Cedar Falls; on June 7, 1898, she married Dr. J. G. McAlvin. She taught in the public schools of Cedar Falls four years; member of the West Waterloo school board six years.
127	Joseph C. McGee	Died September 14, 1940, at his home in San Gabriel, California. He taught twenty-three years in the Los Angeles schools, retiring in 1933. He devoted later years to the care of his orange ranch.
128	George E. Winter	The Des Moines postmaster returned the April 1941, issue of the Alumnus magazine with the notation "party addressed deceased."
129	Isabel Cowan	Died at her home in Windom, Minnesota, December 27, 1940. Since 1912 her residence has been Windom, Minnesota, where three surviving brothers live. She was a native of Ontario, Canada, and came with her parents to O'Brien County, Iowa, in 1874.
130	Ned Jenness	Died in Nampa, Idaho, August 1, 1940. His wife, the former Winifred Hazen, is living in Nampa. Ned left Sioux City in 1907, where he was associated with his cousin, W. C. Hills, in the ownership of five Woodbury County weekly newspapers.
131	Mr. and Mrs. Orville Thurston, (Jean Calmer)	The former Jean Calmer and her husband, Orville, of Spencer, Iowa, announce the birth of a son, Gary Jay.
132	Mr. and Mrs. R. A. Long, (Doris Merriam)	The former Doris Merriam and her husband of Yale, Iowa, announce the birth of a son, Richard Ronald. R. A. is superintendent of schools at Yale.

136	Wallace J. Knobbs	Died December 19, 1940, at his home in Kirksville, Missouri. In 1924, he became Professor of Agriculture in the State Teachers College at Kirksville, Missouri, which position he held for the remainder of his life.
137	Mrs. Ceylon E. Stowell, (Mary E. Warnick)	Died at her home in Kalispell, Montana, February 10, 1941. In 1934 she married Ceylon Stowell at Kalispell and had made her residence there since that time. She taught in Montana for about seven years.
138	T. B. Morris	Living in McGregor, Minnesota "on the shore of one of Minnesota's finest lakes and enjoying it," he has forty-one years' credit of teaching to look back on now.
139	Emma V. Shoudy	Is living in Los Angeles, California. She retired from teaching in the Los Angeles school system two years ago.
140	Phoebe Dixon	Is now living at Eleanor Lodge, Chicago, Illinois. She spent part of the winter months traveling through Florida, Georgia, Alabama, and cities en route. She also attended the University of Alabama for a semester.
141	Margaret Oliver	A member of the English department faculty of the College from 1901 to 1917, died March 7, 1941, at La Feria, Texas, at the age of 80. The La Feria community, in the lower Rio Grande Valley, celebrated her eightieth birthday.
142	Mrs. Erwin C. Naylor, (Clare E. Owen)	Died February 22, 1940. She had been living at Stratford, Iowa. She taught several years following graduation, marrying in 1911. She is survived by her husband and three children, Max of Pocahontas, Ruth of Delhi, and Luella of Stratford.
143	Flora M. Dolmage	A former student at the College, died January 17, 1941, in Omaha, Nebraska. She taught in the public schools at Victor, Iowa, for over thirty years. Her sister Eva (Mrs. C. W. Rubel) also attended the College.
144	Albert L. Halstead	Editor of the Rock Valley Bee for thirty-three years, died February 19, 1941. He is survived by his wife, Christina Halstead. He sold the Bee in October 1940, because of ill health; town clerk for more than twenty years; secretary of Board of Education.
145	Mrs. F. P. Madson, (Mabel Toye)	Died December 16, 1940, at her home in Northwood, Iowa. Following the death of her husband in 1921, she was employed in the Northwood post office until last August. She is survived by three daughters, her parents, and a sister.
